photo cropping for photo prints

What is Cropping?

Different cameras capture photos in different aspect ratios (the ratio of the width to the height of the image). Often this does not fit a print size and thus while printing some part of the original photo has to be cropped (cut).

original uncropped image The original image. 4 x 6 cropping To fit a 4" x 6" Print top and bottom areas had to be trimmed. 8 x 10 cropping To fit a 8" x 10" Print left and right areas had to be trimmed.

How can I control which area of my image will be cropped?

Please see the following video to see how you can control the crop area for your image.

Can I specify a single crop setting for all my photos?

Yes you can specify a single crop setting for all your photos from the Shopping Cart. Select 'Zoom and Trim'(Image will be centered and extra area cropped) or 'No Cropping' (Padding will be added). These settings will not apply to images where you have specified yourself what area is to be cropped.
