How do I share my photos?
iTasveer lets you create any number of personal web pages for photo sharing called 'Sharepools'.
- Upload some photos to your iTasveer account.
- On the 'Photos' page, select the photos you want to share and click on the 'Share Photos' button.
- You will be asked to provide a sharing user name. This becomes a part of your share page web addresses and is common to all your share pages. For example, if I specify, a user name 'mayank', my sharing address will look like this http://www.itasveer.com/pool/mayank/poolname
- Next, create a share page, which we call 'pools'. A pool link is generated based on the name provided, and you can use that web link to share your photos with your friends. For example, if your pool name is 'Rishikesh Trip', your pool link would be http://www.itasveer.com/pool/mayank/rishikesh-trip. If you want, you can edit this URL too.
- Subsequently, whenever you select photos and click on 'Share Photos' button, you can select from a list of existing pools or create a new pool.
- You can see a list of your pools from the Photos > Sharepools submenu.
Can I password-protect my Sharepool?
Yes, you can add a password to your sharepool. Visitors will have to provide this password to be able to access
your shared page.
- Go to the list of your Sharepools.
- Click on the 'Edit Settings' button.
- You can add a password from here.
What does the 'Enable Print Ordering' option do?
By enabling this option, you can allow viewers to order prints of shared photos from your shared page. This would
have no effect on your own orders - any viewer will be independently able to order prints of those photos. You can
discontinue this anytime by deselecting this option from your shared page settings.
How do I unshare my photos?
To unshare your photos, just visit any pool (while you're logged in), select the photos you want to remove and click on the button 'Remove from Pool'. The selected photos will be unshared.
