Contribution to AID Delhi

At itasveer, we feel it is our constant responsibility both as an organisation and as individuals to try and make a difference to society, in whatever small way we can. Our first initiative towards this direction was an association with AID Delhi, when we contributed a small part of our revenues to them.

From September to November 2006 itasveer contributed every fiftieth rupee spent by a user on itasveer to AID Delhi.

AID (Association for India's Development) is a worldwide volunteer-driven movement started in University of Maryland at College Park in 1991. Since then, the movement has spread to more than 50 universities in the US and India. Over the past years AID has undertaken numerous projects across the length and breadth of the country. The Delhi chapter started in 1999 over e-groups and evolved to real force of volunteers in January 2004.
